Photographing Jenna for her senior portraits was such a memorable experience! Jenna is one of those people who lights up the room (or in this case, the outdoors) with her sweet, kind, and giggly personality. She was confident and open to trying any poses, making the entire session a joy to shoot.
A Beautiful Montana Backdrop
For her session, Jenna invited Brian up to her grandparents' gorgeous property just outside Missoula. The location was incredible—rolling fields, mountain views, and the kind of natural beauty that Montana is famous for. It was the perfect place to reflect her vibrant personality and love for the outdoors.
The Windstorm That Shook Things Up
Everything was going perfectly during the first shoot… until the infamous Missoula windstorm of 2024 decided to make its grand entrance! As the dark thunderous clouds rolled in, it made it nearly impossible to continue, we had to pause the session. Power outage, trees falling and cars being crushed on the drive home! Thankfully, everyone was safe and Jenna took it all in stride, rescheduling for another day.
The second session brought perfect weather, giving us plenty of time to explore the property and capture Jenna in golden light and allowed her to get a second look with her wavy hairstyle.
