Doing what you love with people you love — is there anything better? When my daughter left for college, I never expected how deeply the empty nest would hit. So when she mentioned a spontaneous summit in Montana’s Crazy Mountains, I dropped everything to join her and one of her best friends. What followed was a breathtaking 16-mile trek, 4,400 feet of elevation gain, and a sunset that made us feel like we were on another planet. Laughter, love, and the wild beauty of Montana made this a memory I’ll never forget. Here's the story of that one special day.
